Job Description

Reporting to the President, the Manager of Collections is an integral part of the our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and leading a high performing team of individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse skills. The Manager will also be responsible to oversee the collections process. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has strong leadership skills, strong problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and is excited to be a part of leading a team to sustained improvement in this key component of working capital.
Key Responsibilities


  • Implement strategies and improvements that lead to timely collection of North America Accounts Receivables

  • Manage a team of collectors.

  • Implement and lead daily management and process improvement events to achieve and sustain departmental goals while constantly looking to improve these goals.

  • Collaborate with  Leaders, cross-functionally to ensure that the accounts receivable team is equipped with the most relevant information and support to execute on their goals.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for team.

  • Review and analyze weekly, monthly reports related to collections, deductions , bad debt analysis, aging analysis and other pertinent information as applicable

  • Communicate with customers on sensitive credit matters in a timely and effective manner.

  • Continual development of industry and company knowledge as well as project management skills and technical expertise (self and AR team).

  • Participate in projects and initiatives as needed.



Critical Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred (may consider substantive relevant years of experience in lieu of degree)

  • 3-5 years’ experience dedicated experience in accounts receivable in a Banking environment strongly preferred

  • Prior proven people leadership experience

  • Advanced Excel , data management and analytical skills required

  • Demonstrated experience using data to solve complex problems

  • Experience using financial reports and other external resources to inform collections activities

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices helpful

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
