Job Description

This role will report to the IT SMO and work directly with data and information, create meaningful analyses, and create reports, dashboards, and presentations.


Types of analysis and reporting may include:


  • developing feeds from SharePoint to Tableau

  • development and quality review of KPIs

  • workflow analysis

  • process improvement

  • IT supplier reporting

  • supplier financial reporting and/or a variety of other reporting functions


The financial services industry is reviewed by several government agencies to ensure the Supplier Management program is meeting all requirements by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).


These agencies are constantly reviewing our processes for contractual adherence, risk assessments, co-employment risk, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


This highly visible team (IT Supplier Management Office) within the IT organization evaluates risks to the Supplier Management Program and makes recommendations to the executive team for three strategic initiatives:


  • Reduce the number of suppliers used by IT, Reduce supplier spend, Increase supplier accountability and executive engagement.

  • The IT SMO in response, has developed governance framework to review performance of the program against the requirements.

  • The IT SMO is charged with developing reporting for senior executives to review and action upon results if applicable.



Duties and Responsibilities:  


  • Build data feeds from Sharepoint to Tableau

  • Interpret data and analysis for the IT SMO team to ensure strategic initiatives are met

  • Develop supplier KPI reporting

  • Gather and prepare data for business analysis, reporting, trend analysis or forecasting decisions, to develop suggested outcomes based on analysis gathered

  • Service level agreements in contracts (this may require research in a variety of systems and/or programs)

  • Ensure accuracy of data


Job Requirements

Must Have Skills/Experience:


  • Supplier management and/or risk management experience

  • Analytical skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • MS Office skills with Excel required

  • Oral and written communication

  • Ability to multitask

  • Issue identification with suggested resolution


Preferred experience in:


  • Systems administrator experience in SharePoint and Tableau.

  • Demonstrated ability to create scripts, develop tools, or automate processes



Education


  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related degree.
