I. Overview

 

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new IT Staffing Clients for the Raleigh office of a nationwide Staffing Firm. You must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start. Must be highly self-motivated, a terrific presenter and communicator, and a barracuda closer. Above all, building long term relationships in the market is your passion.

II. Responsibilities:

 

You must:

  • Effectively prospect, qualify, demonstrate & close to ensure sales goals are met while maintaining company’s integrity & brand image.
  • Keep abreast of industry related knowledge and competition in order to adapt sales presentations and marketing efforts.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our team in adapting and improving the sales strategy in the market.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and up sell additional services.
  • Successfully build our presence in the market by adding new clients in new industries.

III. Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3-8 years of prior experience with Information Technology staffing sales.
  • Experienced in calling on clients at CIO, CTO level and VP of HR.
  • Ability to generate and close on new sales leads.
  • Self-starter, positive can-do attitude and go getter in building a strong local presence.
  • Successful proven sales track record.

V. Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
